SANDEMAN PORTO Mulled Wine Recipe – Just the Right Fit for Spring

It’s spring with warm days and cool nights. We have a mulled wine recipe with Sandeman Harbor it’s just for the season. It is a delicious drink that is a pleasure to prepare and serve.

Sandeman Port teamed up with Chicago bartender Nigal Vann for this epic mulled wine recipe. Of his latest creation, Vann notes, “This variation of Sandeman mulled wine is NOT just for cold weather like your typical mulled wine recipe, it’s actually appropriate for where we find ourselves right now – l “between seasons, when winter ends and spring begins. hence the honey and citrus notes that are heavier than the average mulled wine.”

Sandeman Mulled Wine


– 1.50oz Sandeman Ruby Port

-0.75oz brandy

-3oz of water

-0.5 oz fresh lemon juice

-.75 oz of honey

-1 cinnamon stick

-1 orange zest (whole orange)

Method: Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and stir over low heat until contents are evenly combined. Do not bring to a boil. Discard the orange zest and carefully pour into an Irish coffee cup and add a slice of apple and let cool to desired temperature.
